I am fascinated by relationships of seeming opposites: light and dark, still and movement, solid and empty. All of these are representations of Yin and Yang, the essence of the life. In sculpture, I portray Yin and Yang in several ways:
The always-moving water and the always-stationary stone,
A solid mass of stone with an opening through it,
Rough, unfinished surfaces and smooth, polished ones.

Because nearly all of my work is commissioned, most pieces are sold before they are started. So, many of these sculptures are not available but are representative of my work.
